Production

The Sievin Puutuote Oy plant is located on the Nivala industrial estate. Our production facilities are specially designed for the manufacture of glue-laminated timber products.

Temperature and humidity are kept optimal through all stages of the gluing process. The plant has sufficient space set aside for equalizing of sawn timber and post-hardening of finished glue-laminated timber.

Lamellas are planed on an efficient planing line and the glue applied on a separate ribbon spreader. PU glue is used for all weatherproof products. Products for the furniture industry are glued with PVAC adhesive. Pressing is performed on a 24 metre long hydraulic press.
